Job summary

Flynn Arby's is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform installations, maintenance and repairs of facility HVAC/R, as well as maintenance on cooking equipment, refrigeration units, lighting, and warming cabinets across Arby’s locations in the region. The role requires 100% regional travel and the ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

The position includes minor plumbing, electrical and construction repairs, with a focus on safety compliance and high-quality

Qualifications

• HVAC Certification (1 year+) is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must provide proof of legal status to work in the United States.
• Possess basic tools and meters knowledge.
• Drug Free workplace – able to pass a DOT Drug Screen, fitness-for-duty exam, and background check.
• Possess a clean Motor Vehicle Report.
• May perform physical work including lifting and rooftop access.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests; troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair based on warranty and industry standards.
• Communicate with maintenance supervisor and store management to report repair status.
• Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures; perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Requirements

• HVAC Certification (1 year+)
• At least 18 years of age
• Must provide proof upon hire of legal status to work in the United States.
• Possess basic tools and meters knowledge
• Drug Free workplace - must be able to pass a DOT Drug Screen, a fit for duty physical, and a criminal background check.
• Possess a clean Motor Vehicle Report Physical Job Requirements
• Bending, Stooping, Lifting, Pushing, Pulling
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs
• Climbing / Rooftop work
• Inside and Outside work (exposure to extreme heat on rooftops and cold weather).
