Scott Brothers Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical is seeking an HVAC Maintenance Technician in Boone, NC. You will inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain residential HVAC systems, performing routine service and installations while ensuring safety and high-quality workmanship.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience, strong customer service, and ability to manage fleet and inventory, with a commitment to reliability and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• 1 year of residential HVAC service experience minimum (required).
• Sales and customer service experience required.
• Must pass motor vehicle, background check and drug screen.
• Physical dexterity and reliability essential.

Responsabilités

• Inspect and troubleshoot HVAC systems to identify issues and determine repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts.
• Test system performance and energy efficiency with specialized tools.
• Install, repair, or replace defective HVAC components.
• Identify upgrades to improve performance and efficiency.
• Keep accurate maintenance and repair records.
• Comply with safety regulations and guidelines.

Compensation:

• $50,000 - $90,000+/yr

What YOU Will Do:

• Inspect and troubleshoot HVAC systems to identify issues and determine necessary repairs
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed
• Test HVAC system performance and efficiency using specialized tools and equipment
• Install, repair, or replace defective parts or components of HVAC systems
• Identify and recommend upgrades or improvements to enhance system performance and energy efficiency
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed on HVAC systems
• Comply with all safety regulations and guidelines while working on HVAC systems

What We Need from YOU:

• 1 year of residential HVAC service experience minimum
• Basic knowledge of the HVAC codes and safety procedures
• Experience managing a fleet vehicle and product inventory
• Sales and Customer Service Experience required
• Must pass motor vehicle & background check and drug screen
• Superb customer service skills, honest, dependable, and reliable
• Physical dexterity
