Job summary

Shift Ladder is seeking a hands-on HVAC installer to install furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps in new or retrofit spaces. You will read blueprints, run ductwork through attics, crawlspaces, and walls, and braze copper lines while following safety standards.

You'll wire thermostats and control boards, test systems, and verify no leaks overnight. This role rewards practical problem solving and physical stamina in tight spaces.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and align installation with design.
• Perform safety checks and tests after install.

Responsibilities

• Install furnaces, ACs, and heat pumps in spaces not designed for them.
• Run ductwork through attics, crawlspaces and walls.
• Braze copper lines and charge systems with refrigerant.
• Wire thermostats and control boards per manufacturer specs.
• Read blueprints and translate architect vision into reality.
• Finish install, test systems, and check for leaks.
