Job summary

WCAPDD in Norman, AR is seeking a skilled HVAC Installer/Technician with at least 1 year of HVAC/R experience. The role involves installing, maintaining and repairing HVAC systems to ensure comfort and efficiency. Pay is $20.00–$25.00 per hour; full-time, on-site.

On-call every other week; you will manage your own scheduling when on call and use our dispatch software. We provide a company vehicle, fuel, paid vacation and major holidays after 1 year, and commission starting at 2%.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of HVAC/R experience.
• Install, maintain and repair HVAC systems for efficiency and comfort.
• On-call rotation with dispatch software familiarity.

Job Position: HVAC Installer/ Technician

Job Overview and description:

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installer/ HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic with at least minimum one year experience heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. The HVAC Installer will work closely with clients to provide exceptional service and ensure their comfort.

Duties

• Diagnosis, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC/R equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on HVAC systems to ensure they are operating efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on-site.
• Proficient in HVAC/R systems with knowledge of refrigeration techniques.

Diagnosing and repairing all types and a variety of heating and air equipment. Job duty includes but is not limited to replacing parts such as compressors, coils, motors, TXV's, capacitors, rewiring and configuration of systems, installing thermostats, running communication wires. Your job is to accurately diagnosis and repair their HVAC system to get them cooling / heating properly. Proper customer service skills, and selling HVAC systems is a opportunity for commission.

On call every other week, will be required to do your own scheduling when on call, and learn our dispatch software. Communicate with employer and customers in a professional manner at all times. We provide, a vehicle, fuel on the job, paid vacation and major holidays after 1 year, and commission beginning at 2%. 50+ hours in the summer, 40 hours or less in the winter, unpaid time off in slow season is permitted. Located in Norman, AR. Main service area is Hot Springs, serving the whole Central Arkansas Area.
