Job summary

Robert-B-Payne-Inc seeks an HVAC Installer to install and wire HVAC equipment per manufacturer specs in residential and light commercial settings. You will braze and solder copper lines, install duct systems, and ensure safe gas line connections.

The role requires 3+ years of HVAC installation experience, a high school diploma or GED, EPA certification preferred, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record. Weekend and overtime work may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years HVAC installation experience.
• High school diploma or GED; EPA certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to work weekends, nights, and overtime.
• Ability to work in extreme conditions (cold/hot/dirty environments).

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC equipment following company policies and manufacturer specifications.
• Wire low and line voltage for cooling/heating equipment.
• Brazing and soldering copper refrigerant lines to units.
• Install flexible and sheet metal duct systems in residential and light commercial settings.
• Connect gas lines to heating equipment.
• Pre-measure sites to determine material needs and load them into the vehicle.
• Assist teammates to complete tasks on time as directed.
• Maintain professional image and positive working relationships with colleagues and supervisors.
• Operate and maintain company vehicle in good condition.
