Job summary

K Komfort Heating & Cooling is seeking an experienced HVAC Installer to install, maintain and repair residential HVAC systems in Michigan. You will collaborate with contractors, technicians, and homeowners to ensure installations meet high standards.

A minimum of five years of experience is required. Responsibilities include installing furnaces, ACs, heat pumps, and ductless systems, reading blueprints, diagnosing issues, and ensuring safety and code compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification or degree preferred.
• Proven experience as an HVAC installer or similar role in residential settings.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, especially residential units.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with current HVAC regulations and standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record; ability to meet driving requirements for company vehicle.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Physical Demands & Cognitive Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces.
• Comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
