Job summary

Air Tech Heating & Cooling in Sacramento, CA is seeking an experienced HVAC Installer to install, maintain, and repair comfort systems at customer sites. You will travel to properties, inspect equipment, diagnose defects, perform repairs or preventive maintenance, and ensure new systems operate efficiently.

The role requires strong organizational and problem-solving skills, reliable work ethic, and ability to work after hours or weekends.

Qualifications

Must have valid HVAC license and complete HVAC training program.
Ability to travel to client sites and work at customer locations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Inspect the effectiveness and safety of current customers’ HVAC system.
Installing, maintaining, and repairing customers’ ventilation, air conditioning systems, and equipment.
Diagnosing HVAC systems for electrical and mechanical defects.
Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
Maintaining a detailed inventory of all HVAC equipment and resources.
Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Participate in all technical training.
Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customers’ requirements.
Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short or no notice.
