Job summary

JM Mechanical in Boise, ID is seeking a dependable HVAC Installer Helper to assist our installation crews on residential and commercial projects. This entry-level role is ideal for someone mechanically inclined who wants to learn the HVAC trade and grow with a locally respected company.

You will load and organize tools, assist with ductwork and equipment placement, follow plans and safety procedures, and help keep job sites clean while learning installation techniques from experienced crew.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work well with a team and follow instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• HVAC or construction experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to safely lift and move tools, equipment, and materials.

Responsibilities

• Assist installers with HVAC system installations and equipment replacement.
• Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials.
• Assist with ductwork, equipment placement, piping, wiring, and other installation tasks.
• Use basic hand and power tools safely.
• Follow directions, plans, and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with transporting materials and equipment to local job sites.
• Learn HVAC installation techniques and industry best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the lead installer or supervisor.
