The HVAC Installer is responsible for the professional installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. This position requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Install new HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, thermostats, and ventilation systems according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
- Inspect existing systems and determine necessary modifications for installation or replacement.
- Follow blueprints, specifications, and job plans to ensure accurate installation.
- Test installed equipment for proper performance and compliance with safety regulations.
- Braze, solder, and perform basic sheet metal fabrication as needed.
- Maintain clean and organized job sites at all times.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members.
- Complete installation documentation and submit reports as required.
- Comply with all company policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with training apprentices or junior installers as assigned.
Working Conditions
- Full-time position; schedule may include evenings or weekends as required by workload or seasonal demand.
- Work is performed indoors and outdoors, occasionally in extreme weather conditions.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of HVAC installation experience preferred.
- EPA 608 Certification required (or ability to obtain).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various environmental conditions (hot, cold, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.).
