Ellis Heating & Air Inc is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our residential team. You will install, service, or repair heating and air conditioning systems in homes, delivering high-quality work and customer satisfaction.

Candidates must have prior HVAC Installer experience and an EPA certification, be a team player who can work independently, and maintain a professional attitude. No smoking at work; tattoos and beards allowed within reason.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, servicing, or repairing HVAC systems in residences.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and climb ladders.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team! In this role, you will install, service, or repair heating and air conditioning systems in residences.

You must have past experience as an HVAC Installer role and hold an EPA certification. A team player who is comfortable working independently, you love the feeling of a job well done and take pride in completing customer jobs with efficiency. A positive attitude is a must!

Responsibilities

• Replacement or repair of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems
• Establish customer rapport to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction
• Test pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks, using a pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution
• Test electrical circuits or components for continuity, using electrical test equipment
• Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring
• up to $30+/.hr plus OT depending on experience

Qualifications

• Past experience as an HVAC Installer or service technician
• Valid Drivers License
• EPA Certification
• Experience with operation of heat pumps, air handlers, and A/C systems
• Ability to climb ladders, crawl, and lift 40 pounds
