Job summary

Rashad AC And Heating LLC is seeking an HVAC technician to uphold our reputation by delivering superior customer service while addressing concerns and answering questions about HVAC systems. You will assemble, install, test, and repair equipment per manufacturer specifications and maintain detailed service logs.

The role requires knowledge of HVAC codes and safety guidelines, driving with an active license, and the ability to work with field staff.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience minimum.
• Must possess an active driver’s license.
• EPA needed, but not required at point of hire.

Ensure our reputation for superior service is maintained during all interactions with customers

Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions about HVAC systems

Use mechanical knowledge to assemble, install, and test HVAC equipment and components following manufacturer's specifications

Perform equipment repairs and replacements as needed

Conduct property maintenance related to HVAC installations

Maintain accurate logs of all work performed

Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned / required

Cooperate with other departments to continually improve the process and flow of information

For each installation job, request necessary parts & equipment needed in advance and verify truck is loaded properly with all materials needed to complete it

Provide guidance to assistants or apprentices and share knowledge

Keep personal tools and equipment operable and up to date

Maintain current knowledge of HVAC codes and standards

Maintain company vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and organization, both inside and out

Maintain the required equipment and inventory in the truck for maximum efficiency

Follow all safety guidelines that apply

Learn product features and benefits

Perform field service calls to troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system issues

Follow blueprints, design specifications, and manufacturer instructions to ensure proper installation and operation of HVAC systems
