SAMS Heating and Air Conditioning in Edwardsburg, Michigan, is seeking an HVAC Installer to join a locally owned team that values its employees and customers. The role emphasizes a supportive, non-pushy environment and includes take-home vans for installers and technicians, plus ongoing training and company events.

As an installer, you will put in furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork, read blueprints, test systems, and mentor apprentices.

Qualifications

• EPA Certification required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Strong HVAC installation knowledge.
• Knowledge of ductwork, airflow and layouts.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with low-voltage wiring.
• Ability to safely lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Install residential HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork.
• Complete high-quality installations efficiently and professionally.
• Read blueprints and layouts to ensure systems are installed properly and up to code.
• Test systems and make adjustments to ensure proper operation.
• Work closely with team members to complete projects on schedule.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
• Deliver a strong customer experience from start to finish.
• Mentor and assist apprentices when needed.

Pay: $22-34/hour. Piece rate pay offered for replacement jobs.
