Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dedicated HVAC Installer to join our Cincinnati team. You will assemble, install, and maintain commercial HVAC duct systems, read blueprints, and ensure high quality installations.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience, is comfortable working at heights, can lift heavy materials, and holds HVAC installation certification or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC Installer.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC duct systems, fabrication techniques, and installation standards.
• Proficiency in using sheet metal tools (snips, brakes, plasma cutters, drills, etc.).
• Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings accurately.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
• Comfort working at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• HVAC Installation certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assembling HVAC ductwork pieces for installation at the job site, as necessary.
• Placing hangers and supports for HVAC duct.
• Utilizing sheet metal tools (snips, brakes, plasma cutters, drills, etc.) proficiently.
• Lifting heavy materials, working at heights, and performing physically demanding tasks.
• Installing commercial HVAC ductwork, including rectangular, spiral, round, and specialty metal systems.
• Fabricating sheet metal components using shears, brakes, and other fabrication tools as needed.
• Ensuring all installations are completed on time and to the highest standard of quality.
• Adhering to all safety regulations and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
