Job summary

Vulcan Mechanical Service is seeking an experienced HVAC Installation technician to lead residential and light commercial installations, commission equipment, fabricate ductwork, braze and solder refrigerant piping, and ensure work meets safety and local codes.

The role requires strong customer service, the ability to read installation manuals, blueprints and wiring diagrams, EPA certification, and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of HVAC installation experience.
• EPA Certification required.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to read and interpret installation manuals, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Experience brazing and soldering refrigerant piping systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete residential and light commercial HVAC installations, including commissioning.
• Diagnose basic HVAC issues and identify installation requirements prior to project execution.
• Install, repair, modify, and replace ductwork systems and refrigerant piping.
• Braze and solder refrigerant piping while following safety standards.
• Coordinate with inspectors, suppliers, and teammates to meet schedule.
