Fred's Plumbing and Heating in Champaign, IL is seeking a full-time HVAC Installation Tech. The role offers $32.00–$38.00/hour and a $2,000 sign-on bonus, with opportunities to learn, grow, and advance in a hands-on trade.

You will work from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Thursday, with half-days on Fridays, and participate in an on-call rotation. Benefits include health insurance, paid vacation, holidays, sick days, paid training, and a take-home company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on HVAC experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Residence within 30 minutes of Champaign, IL.
• EPA certification is a bonus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Show up on time and perform high-quality HVAC work.
• Interact with clients, answer questions, and suggest upgrades.
• Install and test heating and cooling equipment and systems.

WHAT ARE THE HOURS?

You will usually work from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Thursday, with half-days on Fridays. There is also an on-call rotation.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?

• Showing up to jobs on time and ready to perform high-quality work
• Speaking with clients, answering questions, and recommending additional upgrades
• Accurately installing and testing all types of heating and cooling equipment and systems

• 2+ years of hands-on HVAC experience
