Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential HVAC installation experience.
• 2+ years of HVAC supervisory or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, installation practices, and applicable codes.
• Proven ability to manage installation crews, productivity, and job profitability.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily residential HVAC installation operations, including system replacements and new installations.
• Coordinate scheduling, equipment, materials, and installation crews.
• Ensure installations are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
• Monitor installation productivity, job costing, callbacks, and workmanship.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Colorado codes, permitting, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with sales, service, dispatch, and customer care teams.
• Drive installation revenue, gross profit, and departmental performance.
• Maintain high standards for installation quality and customer satisfaction.
• Minimize callbacks, warranty issues, and installation deficiencies.

Job description

Mighty Plumbing, Heating, Air & Electric is seeking an experienced, results-driven HVAC Installation Manager to lead and grow our residential HVAC installation operations in the Denver market.

This hands-on leadership position is responsible for managing installation crews, driving revenue and profitability, ensuring quality workmanship, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

We are looking for a strong leader who takes ownership, develops high-performing teams, and ensures installations are completed safely, efficiently, and profitably.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach, and develop HVAC installers, lead installers, and apprentices.
• Establish clear performance expectations and accountability.
• Conduct team meetings, performance reviews, and technical training.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to support staffing needs and hiring.
• Build a positive, safety-focused, and results-driven team.

Installation Operations

• Oversee daily residential HVAC installation operations, including system replacements and new installations.
• Coordinate scheduling, equipment, materials, and installation crews.
• Ensure installations are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
• Monitor installation productivity, job costing, callbacks, and workmanship.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Colorado codes, permitting, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with sales, service, dispatch, and customer care teams.

Revenue & Profitability

• Drive installation revenue, gross profit, and departmental performance.
• Monitor labor efficiency, material costs, job profitability, and installation capacity.
• Identify opportunities to improve installation efficiency and reduce unnecessary expenses.
• Establish and achieve departmental revenue and performance goals.
• Ensure accurate job documentation and completion reporting.

Customer Experience & Quality

• Maintain high standards for installation quality and customer satisfaction.
• Resolve escalated installation concerns promptly and professionally.
• Ensure proper system startup, testing, and customer education.
• Minimize callbacks, warranty issues, and installation deficiencies.

Qualifications

Required

• 5+ years of residential HVAC installation experience.
• 2+ years of HVAC supervisory or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, installation practices, and applicable codes.
• Proven ability to manage installation crews, productivity, and job profitability.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements.

Preferred

• Experience managing multiple installation crews.
• Familiarity with ServiceTitan or similar software.
• Experience managing installation budgets and KPIs.
• EPA Section 608 certification.
• NATE certification or additional HVAC credentials.
