Job summary

Cooling Unlimited, Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC Installation Lead Technician to join our residential installation team. You will lead start-to-finish installations, ensure quality and safety standards, and coordinate daily work with other installers.

You will provide hands-on guidance, inspect work, troubleshoot issues, mentor junior technicians, and represent the company professionally in customers' homes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HVAC installation experience.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Handling Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of jobs.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential heating and air conditioning installations from start to finish.
• Ensure installations meet company quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate daily work with other installers and keep projects on schedule.
• Provide hands-on guidance and direction to installation team members.
• Inspect completed work and address installation issues as they arise.
• Troubleshoot equipment or jobsite challenges and determine solutions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
• Communicate project updates, concerns, and material needs with management.
• Help train and mentor less-experienced installers.
• Represent Cooling Unlimited professionally in customers' homes.

HVAC Installation Lead Technician | $35–$45/hr | Take-Home Vehicle

Monday–Friday | 40+ hours per week

What You'll Do

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned jobs

Preferred qualifications:

• Previous lead, foreman, or supervisory experience
• HVAC technical school or formal trade training
• NATE certification
• Experience training or mentoring other technicians
