Job summary

Cassell Brothers, part of TurnPoint Services, is hiring an HVAC Install Technician to install residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will read blueprints, perform start-up and commissioning, and ensure compliance with codes and standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in residential or light commercial HVAC installation.
• EPA Universal Certification is required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals.
• Strong understanding of HVAC system design, airflow, and duct layout.
• Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments.
• Must lift up to 100 lbs and meet physical demands.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent attention to detail and safety.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless systems, and ventilation components.
• Lay out, fabricate, and install ductwork and related fittings to specification.
• Perform start-up, testing, and commissioning of newly installed equipment.
• Ensure installations meet local codes, manufacturer specifications, and company standards.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and vehicles.
• Collaborate with Install Leads, Supervisors, and team members to ensure safe, on-time, high-quality work.
• Communicate with homeowners regarding system operation and maintenance.
• Complete required documentation accurately and promptly.
