R3 Heating & Air, the HVAC division of R3 Roofing & Exterior, is seeking an experienced HVAC Install Technician to oversee residential and light commercial installs from Davenport, IA. You will install furnaces, AC, heat pumps, ductless systems, and ductwork, ensuring code compliance and top craftsmanship.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years of experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, EPA Type II/Universal certification, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years HVAC installation experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade certification preferred.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to read blueprints and project documents.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Physically able to lift 75+ lbs and work in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC systems including furnaces, ACs, heat pumps, ductless systems, and ductwork.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents for installs.
• Coordinate with dispatch, project managers, and clients to meet timelines.
• Ensure compliance with safety regs, local codes, and specs.
• Troubleshoot installation issues and resolve on-site challenges.
• Keep job sites clean, safe, and organized.
• Maintain installation records and report project status.

Position Summary

We’re hiring an experienced HVAC Install Technician to oversee residential and light commercial installations. The role requires delivering high‑quality workmanship, completing installs to code, on time, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation of HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless mini‑splits, and ductwork.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to plan and execute installs.
• Coordinate closely with dispatch, project managers, and clients to meet project timelines.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, local codes, and manufacturer specifications.
• Troubleshoot installation issues and resolve on‑site challenges with professionalism and accuracy.
• Keep job sites clean, safe, and organized throughout each project.
• Maintain accurate installation records and report project status.
• Inventory and maintain tools, equipment, and company‑provided materials.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of HVAC installation experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred.
• Valid EPA certification (Type II or Universal).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
