Job summary

Topline Heating & Air is seeking an eager and enthusiastic entry-level Residential HVAC Install Helper. The role supports the Lead Installer on residential HVAC projects, assisting with equipment installation, duct work, and related tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license (DL) required.
• Demonstrate mental aptitude and physical ability.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to climb in attics, under houses and in box trucks in extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Installer in carrying out full HVAC installation skills such as equipment removal and installation of new, duct repair and/or replacement (fiberglass, flex, and metal), soldering, venting flues, refrigerant leak detection, and charging, recovering and reclaiming refrigerant, measuring refrigeration system parameters (gas pressures and temperatures, etc.), calculating static and CFM delivery, carrying out basic plumbing and electrical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Lead Installer in carrying out full HVAC installation skills such as: equipment removal and installation of new, duct repair and/or replacement (fiberglass, flex, and metal), soldering, venting flues, refrigerant leak detection, and charging, recovering and reclaiming refrigerant, measuring refrigeration system parameters (gas pressures and temperatures, etc.), calculating static and CFM delivery, carrying out basic plumbing and electrical skills.
• Load trucks with materials, tools, and equipment as instructed by Lead Installer.
• Learn proper install methods from Install Lead.

Nice to Haves:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17-$20 an hour
