Job summary

Topline Heating & Air is seeking an eager and enthusiastic entry-level Residential HVAC Install Helper to support the Lead Installer on the job. This hands-on role offers a pathway to start your HVAC career within a five-star, family-oriented team.

You will assist with equipment removal and installation, duct work, basic plumbing/electrical tasks, and load trucks for installations. A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

• Demonstrate the mental aptitude and physical ability to perform the job
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to climb in attics, under houses, and in box trucks in extreme temperatures

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Installer with equipment removal and installation, duct repair/replacement, venting, refrigerant handling, and measuring system parameters
• Load trucks with materials, tools, and equipment as instructed
• Learn proper install methods from Install Lead.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Lead Installer in carrying out full HVAC installation skills such as: equipment removal and installation of new, duct repair and/or replacement (fiberglass, flex, and metal), soldering, venting flues, refrigerant leak detection, and charging, recovering and reclaiming refrigerant, measuring refrigeration system parameters (gas pressures and temperatures, etc.), calculating static and CFM delivery, carrying out basic plumbing and electrical skills.
• Load trucks with materials, tools, and equipment as instructed by Lead Installer.
• Learn proper install methods from Install Lead.

Nice to Haves:

• High school diploma or GED.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17-$20 an hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
