Airtron Heating & Air Conditioning in Illinois is seeking a team-oriented installer to help homeowners stay comfortable year-round by installing heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment in residential settings.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED, English communication, mechanical aptitude, and a valid driver’s license; HVAC trade school certification and prior install experience are preferred. Safety-minded team players are encouraged to apply.

Works under supervision to install heating, air conditioning, ventilation equipment, as well as other products in accordance with company requirements and manufacture specifications. May test systems to ensure proper functioning. Identifies issues and follows-up with required repair to ensure all relevant components are working correctly to ensure compliance. Completes all paperwork in a neat, accurate, thorough and timely manner. May performs start-up on air conditioning systems as needed. Fabricates and installs various ducts and duct fittings as required. Follows safety policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Duties may vary by location.
Majority of work will take place at either occupied residential homes or construction sites. Minimal time spent in an office environment. Travel by vehicle to and from work locations Regularly exposed to construction environments involving equipment, elevated work areas, confined spaces, noise, dust, hazardous materials and odors Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE
