Job summary

HI-VAC Air Conditioning Service in Sunrise, FL is seeking an HVAC Install Apprentice to gain hands-on experience with installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of residential and light commercial systems. You will train alongside experienced technicians and have opportunities for EPA certification and career growth.

The role offers a structured schedule (Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM) with possible overtime, a supportive team, and access to manufacturer and SPIFF-based incentives as you build

Qualifications

• EPA Universal Certification required
• Able to lift up to 100 pounds
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
• High school diploma or GED
• HVAC trade school certification preferred
• Experience in HVAC, construction, electrical, or related trade preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced HVAC technicians while receiving hands-on training
• Install and replace residential and light commercial HVAC equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance, system inspections, and seasonal tune-ups
• Work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and other job site environments
• Deliver excellent customer service during every service visit
• Educate customers on HVAC equipment and indoor air quality products

HVAC Install Apprentice | $18.00-$22.00 Per Hour

Join our team as an HVAC Apprentice and gain hands-on experience in the installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning systems. This role offers valuable on-the-job training while working alongside experienced technicians.

Compensation:

$18.00-$22.00 per hour, based on experience

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with occasional evening hours and overtime as needed.

• Comfortable working from a 28-foot extension ladder and a 12-foot step ladder
• Able to lift up to 100 pounds
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently
• Good communication and customer service abilities
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Previous experience in HVAC, construction, electrical, or a related trade preferred
• HVAC trade school certification preferred
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record

Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.

Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
