Job summary

Talently is seeking an HVAC Field Service Technician to commission, service, and troubleshoot data center cooling systems remotely across the United States. You will work hands-on with mechanical and electrical equipment, reviewing blueprints and manuals, and coordinating with customers and engineers to resolve field issues.

The role requires 3–5 years of HVAC experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three to five years of experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems or similar electromechanical equipment.
• Ability to travel approximately 85% of the time to job sites for commissioning and warranty work.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and persistence in identifying root causes.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently, complete work accurately and on time, and coordinate with outside technicians and parts suppliers.
• Commitment to safe work practices, accountability, integrity, and collaborative problem-solving.

• Work with engineering and manufacturing teams to address unusual equipment and system problems.
• Follow service issues through root cause analysis and help minimize disruption to customer operations.
• Deliver professional, responsive service to internal and external customers.
• Share customer feedback, product performance observations, and improvement recommendations with management.
