Job summary

Pure Air Control Services is seeking a Field Engineer to organize, research, and document cross-department assignments that support growth and operational excellence. You will analyze HVAC systems, interpret drawings, and coordinate with sales and field teams to develop scopes and cost estimates.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical engineering background and strong technical writing skills. Travel up to 50% may be required to support field projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering preferred.
• Engineer Intern certification preferred; actively pursuing considered.
• Minimum 3 years HVAC industry experience including design, commissioning, or test and balance.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and reports.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplined teams to develop scope and cost estimates.
• Organize material and prepare clear reports to standards.
• Analyze data to understand building HVAC systems.
• Translate information into accurate system concepts.
• Evaluate requirements to integrate company solutions.
• Explain observations to project managers and staff in writing and speech.
• Prepare reports on system conditions, risks, and recommended actions.
