Job summary

The Clearwater Marine Aquarium is seeking an HVAC TECH Engineering Associate to maintain and improve HVAC systems across facilities. You will diagnose issues, perform routine maintenance, and support energy-saving upgrades in a dynamic educational environment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of hands-on HVAC experience, HVAC training, and a valid license to work on-site. Experience with maintenance software and diagnostic tools is a plus.

Qualifications

At least 2 years hands-on HVAC maintenance and repair.
High school diploma or equivalent with HVAC technical training.
Read and interpret HVAC manuals, blueprints and schematics.
Valid driver’s license; on-site work in educational facilities.

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on HVAC systems to ensure safe operation.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
Collaborate with engineering/facilities teams on system design upgrades and energy projects.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and inventory for operational excellence.
Respond to emergency service requests to minimize downtime in educational buildings.
