Job summary

URC Construction is seeking an HVAC Engineer to design, install, inspect, commission, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems for data center projects. You will ensure safety, energy efficiency, reliability, and compliance with engineering standards and project requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in HVAC design, installation, testing, commissioning, or maintenance.
  • Knowledge of AHUs, FCUs, chillers, VRF/VRV, cooling towers, pumps, ventilation, and ducts.
  • Ability to read HVAC/MEP drawings and specs.
  • Familiarity with HVAC design calculations and equipment selection.
  • Awareness of HVAC codes, standards, and safety requirements.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, clients, and other project stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable HVAC codes, standards, health and safety requirements, and company procedures.
  • Prepare inspection reports, testing and commissioning reports, progress reports, and other technical documentation.
  • Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance activities where required.
  • Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency, reliability, and energy performance.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Engineer to design, install, inspect, commission, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems. The HVAC Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that HVAC systems are safe, energy-efficient, reliable, and compliant with applicable engineering standards and project requirements.

Role & responsibilities
Key Responsibility

HVAC systems for Data center projects.

  • Understand and review HVAC layouts, schematics, equipment schedules, and technical specifications.
  • Review engineering drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in HVAC design, installation, testing, commissioning, or maintenance.
  • Good knowledge of HVAC systems, including AHUs, FCUs, chillers, VRF/VRV systems, cooling towers, pumps, ventilation systems,TES and ductwork.
  • Ability to read and interpret HVAC/MEP drawings and technical specifications.
  • Knowledge of HVAC design calculations and equipment selection.
  • Familiarity with relevant HVAC codes, standards, and safety requirements.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Good communication, coordination, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with commercial buildings, industrial facilities, hospitals, hotels, data centers, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in HVAC testing, commissioning, TAB (Testing, Adjusting and Balancing), and troubleshooting.
  • Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, and clients.
