The Building People is seeking an HVAC Engineer 2 in Tucson to support operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across assigned properties. You will work under experienced engineering staff to perform rounds, preventive maintenance, and inspections, ensuring safe, efficient operations.

The ideal candidate has two years of experience, EPA Level 1&2 certification, and HVAC/R journeyman training.

Formación

• Two years of experience required; education or trade school can substitute for one year.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel and Word.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Engineer Tech 1 for operation and maintenance of MEPS equipment.
• Perform rounds, routine assessments, and day-to-day preventive maintenance.
• Assist Engineer 1 and other staff as needed.
• Use hand tools, electrical, welding equipment, mechanical components as required.
• Inspect engine room and related equipment including pumps, generators, and electrical rooms.
• Support compliance with EPA certifications and journeyman level practices.
