Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an HVAC Engineer to support operation and maintenance of industrial HVAC systems at our York, PA facility. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and energy-efficient control of building systems.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on HVAC skills, BAS knowledge, and the ability to work independently across multiple sites. Valid driver's license and EPA certification are required for on-site work.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee operation and maintenance of building systems, focusing on industrial HVAC equipment.
  • Service, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems.
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and related mechanical systems.
  • Monitor BAS and adjust HVAC controls to optimize performance and energy efficiency.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and controls-related HVAC issues.
  • Coordinate and support third-party vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or installations.
  • Conduct routine inspections of facilities and building systems for safety and operational standards.
  • Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, system performance, and repairs.
  • Respond promptly to service requests, equipment alarms, and emergencies.
  • Assist with general building maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, and structural systems as needed.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase system reliability and reduce downtime

We are seeking a skilled Building Engineer with a strong background in industrial HVAC systems to support the operation, maintenance, and performance at an industrial facility in the York, PA area. This role is responsible for ensuring building systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably, with a primary emphasis on HVAC infrastructure.
