Job summary

Cape Fear Community College seeks an experienced Program Director for the Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration program. You will lead, oversee, and provide technical direction, while teaching a minimum of 18 contact hours weekly and managing program operations.

Responsibilities include planning and directing instruction, developing curriculum and assessments, monitoring program performance, and coordinating with industry partners and an advisory committee to keep our offerings current.

Qualifications

• Experience in program development and administration for technical trades.
• Ability to plan, direct, and participate in instruction for a career program.
• Strong knowledge of current industry trends and instructional practices.

Responsibilities

• Teach a minimum of 18 contact hours weekly within the ACR program.
• Plan, direct, and participate in instruction; develop materials and tests; maintain records.
• Develop and implement goals, curriculum, and staffing within policy; monitor performance and reporting.
• Coordinate with industry partners and advisory committee to keep program current and relevant.
