Job summary

Kelso Industries is seeking an HVAC Sheet Metal Fabricator in Columbus, OH. This role fabricates, assembles, and prepares ductwork and fittings from shop drawings, using brakes, shears, plasma tables, and other equipment.

You will read blueprints, ensure quality, and support project timelines while maintaining a safe work environment. The ideal candidate has experience in sheet metal fabrication or HVAC manufacturing, with strong attention to detail and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and specifications.
• Experience in sheet metal fabrication or HVAC manufacturing.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Proficient with measuring tools and fabrication equipment.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and safety.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate HVAC ductwork, fittings, plenums, and specialty sheet metal components according to shop drawings and specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and production schedules.
• Operate fabrication equipment including shears, brakes, rollers, presses, plasma tables, and other sheet metal machinery.
• Measure, cut, bend, form, and assemble sheet metal products accurately.
• Inspect fabricated components for quality, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, shop supervisors, and field installation teams to ensure timely project completion.
