Job summary
A leading engineering firm in Cherry Hill Township is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to support project managers in designing HVAC systems for healthcare facilities. Ideal candidates will have a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC design, including expertise in energy modeling software. This hybrid role requires technical expertise and offers a salary of up to $125K plus bonus, along with exceptional benefits.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in detailed HVAC design for critical care/laboratory facilities.
Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD or Revit, and Building Information Modeling (BIM).
Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
Design energy-efficient HVAC and mechanical systems.
Perform load calculations and energy modeling using various software.
Ensure technical correctness of drawings using Revit.
Coordinate with facility owners and architects.
Guide less experienced Engineers in Training.
Conduct site surveys and attend pre-bid meetings.
Implement training development with the Project Engineer.
Assist in proposal development and project execution.
Skills
Knowledge of NFPA and Joint Meeting code requirements
Experience with load analysis and energy modeling programs
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD
Understanding of USGBC LEED Rating standards
Effective time management
Communication skills
Proficiency in English
