Tallahassee State College (TSC) invites applicants for the full-time HVAC Curriculum Specialist – P09962 at the Gadsden Center. The role leads HVAC programs, creates an optimal learning environment, and stays current with industry regulations while engaging a diverse student population.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or equivalent; with 5 years of trade experience or 3 years as a certified HVAC instructor, plus preferred teaching experience and HVAC certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five years of full‑time trade experience at journey level or three years as a certified HVAC instructor.
• Preference for prior teaching experience and HVAC certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide a teaching environment (lecture, group, or individual) targeting a diverse student population to earn proper certifications.
• Educate and train students to gain skills necessary in the HVAC field and meet performance goals.
• Provide administrative support for course logistics (scheduling and curriculum development).
• Assist in recruitment of students, market the program, and identify community partnerships and funding opportunities.
• Coordinate with the Regional Service Center Manager to maintain student performance profiles and equipment logs.
