Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a field technician to perform system commissioning using dedicated configuration and commissioning tools. You will troubleshoot basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls issues and respond to warranty calls while delivering top-tier service to customers.

Responsibilities include loading controller software, running diagnostics, calibrating systems, and completing all commissioning documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or vocational program in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or similar field
• Experience: 3 years in HVAC industry OR 1 year servicing electronic/mechanical systems
• Excellent communication and safety-consciousness
• Ability to explain technical info to both technical and non-technical people

Responsibilities

• Perform system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and tools
• Troubleshoot basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls issues
• Provide on-site service and warranty support with professional customer interaction
• Load controller software, perform basic diagnostics, and document commissioning results
• Prepare and submit time sheets, expense reports and as-built documentation
