Job summary

Insight Global in Austin, TX is seeking a Project Manager for HVAC controls and building automation projects from kickoff to completion. You will oversee schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract administration while coordinating with customers, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include site visits, progress tracking, resolving project issues, and preparing monthly billings and status updates.

Qualifications

2+ years of Project Management experience in HVAC Controls, BAS/BMS, or Mechanical Construction.
Experience managing RFIs, change orders, scheduling, and subcontractors.
Strong customer-facing and project coordination skills.
Knowledge of HVAC equipment and controls systems; Bachelor’s degree in related field.
Background working for major controls and automation contractors.

Responsibilities

Oversee project schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract administration.
Coordinate with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Conduct jobsite visits, track project progress, and resolve project-related issues.
Prepare monthly billings, cost tracking, and project status updates.
Provide project oversight and coordination for field technicians (no direct reports).
