Job summary

CCS Havel in Saginaw, MI seeks a Controls & Automation Technician to install hardware, design software, and document the commissioning of Building Management Control Direct Digital Control Systems. The role emphasizes collaboration with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure reliable control solutions.

You will perform site-specific training, assist with system graphics, and support ongoing maintenance.

Qualifications

• Technical associate degree with 1–2 years field HVAC experience
• 3 years of equivalent related experience acceptable
• Strong communication to non-technical audience required

Responsibilities

• Complete installation hardware design and software programming per standards
• Provide clear design/operation info to customers and subcontractors
• Build and verify graphics for control systems
• Check out HVAC control systems and wiring
• Load, verify, and commission system controllers
• Document processes for BMS Direct Digital Control systems
• Provide site-specific training for owner/operator on total system
• Develop long-term relationships with contractors, clients, consultants and subs
• Attend job progress meetings as required
• Adhere to safety standards
• Ability to stoop, kneel, and climb ladders
• Other duties as assigned
