Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an HVAC Controls Apprentice to work on-site at customer locations in North Charleston, SC. This field-based role focuses on foundational electrical and control system tasks, with training and mentorship provided as you develop hands-on skills in wiring, sensor installation, and software configuration.

You will join a safety-conscious team, with competitive hourly compensation and benefits; the role is full-time and on-site, supporting Trane's mission to deliver

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of electrical and electronic circuits (Beginner–Intermediate).
• Ability to safely use hand tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment (Beginner).
• Basic wiring, sensor installation, and introductory software configuration (Beginner–Intermediate).
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and mechanical drawings (Beginner).
• Understanding of jobsite and electrical safety practices (Basic).
