Job Title: HVAC Commercial Service Technician – All Levels

Responsibilities and Qualifications

  • Repair and perform preventive maintenance on a variety of HVAC equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment
  • Utilize tablet and smartphone technology to:
    • Access and complete work orders
    • Create and submit service reports with images
    • Submit timesheets and expense reports
  • Operate and maintain service vehicles
  • Foster strong relationships with customers, vendors, and team members

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Previous commercial HVAC experience preferred at each level:
    • Level 1 – Maintenance Technician
    • Level 2 – Unitary Technician
    • Level 3 – Applied Technician
  • Must be able to utilize tools properly to perform maintenance and diagnostics of HVAC equipment
  • Driver’s license
  • EPA Universal certification
  • Basic computer skills, including ability to use email and utilize work order management application
  • Ability to write in English and read technical materials, such as safety rules, operating manuals, and maintenance instructions
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills


Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
  • Must be able to bend, push/pull, twist, stoop, squat, lift, crawl, and climb
  • Must be able to use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel
  • Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 75 pounds
  • Must have a strong vision, including ability to see close and long distances, distinguish a full range of colors, and focus eyes
