Job summary

Trane Supply zoekt een HVAC/Chiller Technician voor on-site service bij klanten in Geismar, Louisiana. Je bent primair verantwoordelijk voor preventief onderhoud, diagnose en reparatie van commerciële HVAC-systemen en chillers, met gebruik van meetinstrumenten en handgereedschap.

De functie vereist minimaal een diploma op VBO-niveau en minstens 5 jaar ervaring, plus EPA-certificering. Reizen naar klantlocaties kan voorkomen en er is kans op overtime.

Qualifications

• Vereist: middelbare schooldiploma of GED.
• Minimaal 5+ jaar ervaring in het onderhouden, opsporen van fouten en repareren van commercieel/industrieel HVAC-equipment incl. chillers.
• EPA-certificering vereist.
• Enkele reizen naar klantlocaties kan voorkomen.

Responsibilities

• Voortdurende preventief onderhoud en inspecties aan HVAC-systemen bij klanten.
• Diagnose en reparatie van koel- en ventilatiesystemen.
• Starten en inbedrijfstellen van systemen; werken met blueprints en technische specificaties.

You will be performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, and starting up HVAC systems in a commercial and shop environment. In order to perform your task, you will utilize your knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts. This position affords you the opportunity to work with internal and external partners ranging from temporary facility set ups to in-house overhauls. In this position, you will establish & maintain a positive relationship with customers, vendors and co-workers through effective oral and written communication skills via phone, computer, and face to face. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance, inspections, and service requests including replacement, and modifications of equipment or systems as needed or requested by customers. Communicating with ASM and/or Service Center Coordinator regarding inspection/service findings is required.**What you will do:**Responsible for end to end testing, starting up, commissioning, troubleshooting, and servicing on assigned HVAC equipment.
