Veterans Prime, Inc. in Reno is seeking an HVAC Journeyman Chiller Mechanic to maintain and troubleshoot commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. The role emphasizes safe operation, energy efficiency, and reliability.

You will perform routine and advanced maintenance on air-cooled and water-cooled chillers, diagnose complex faults with electrical schematics, and mentor junior technicians while supporting chiller/BAS integration.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of mechanical troubleshooting experience in the HVAC/R industry.
• Deep familiarity with water chillers and refrigeration; Universal EPA license preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, technical communication, and a total commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• System Maintenance: Perform routine and advanced maintenance on air-cooled and water-cooled chiller systems.
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair complex malfunctions using refrigeration principles and electrical schematics.
• Integration: Manage chiller/BAS integration and overall system performance.
