Lux Handyman in Miami is seeking a skilled HVAC certified Maintenance Technician with strong expertise in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, repair HVAC systems, and handle general repair tasks for residential and commercial properties.

Your role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to manage work orders and receipts, with a flexible schedule including weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar maintenance role.
• HVAC license required.
• Plumbing, electrical, and carpentry experience preferred.
• Fluent in English; strong communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot general maintenance issues.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems (certification necessary).
• Identify and report the need for major maintenance repairs.
• Properly manage and account for company credit card and receipts.
• Perform painting, staining, varnishing, caulking, grouting, and plastering.
• Install, repair, and replace drywall, sheetrock, and general hardware.
• Repair electrical components (light fixtures, transformers, dimmers, etc.).
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues (leaks, valves, clogs, drains, etc.).
• Perform toilet repairs (flappers, fill valves, ballcocks, etc.).
• Conduct basic carpentry work as needed.
• Respond to maintenance requests from property managers.
• Document completed work, including photos and reports, via TRACK (work orders).
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support company operations.

We are seeking a skilled HVAC certified Maintenance Technician with experience in general repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative care. The ideal candidate will have expertise in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can exceed customer expectations and complete work efficiently while maintaining high standards of service.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform toilet repairs (flappers, fill valves, ballcocks, etc.).
• Conduct basic carpentry work as needed.
• Respond to maintenance requests from property managers.

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar maintenance role.
• HVAC license required.
• Previous experience in hotel or property management maintenance is a plus.
• Strong expertise in plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Physically capable of:
  • Standing for long periods and reaching overhead.
  • Stooping, bending, kneeling, and squatting as needed.
  • Climbing ladders and working at heights.
  • Lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot issues.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power equipment.
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal) required.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed.
