Job summary

Must hold NY refrigeration license (Q-01), EPA Universal Technician certification, and a current certificate of fitness. A valid driver’s license and physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• NY refrigeration license (Q-01) required and current certificate of fitness for fire standpipe/sprinkler/welding/oil burner/air compressor operations
• Universal Technician Certification per EPA 40 CFR Part 82 Subpart H required
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
• Must meet company safety requirements (OSHA and others)
• Medical evaluation required; capable of lifting up to 100 lbs
• Flexibility to work evenings/weekends/overtime as needed

Responsibilities

• Start, operate, repair and maintain heating/air conditioning plants and related equipment
• Maintain and repair motor controllers and electrical equipment and control circuits
• Install, repair and calibrate pneumatic/electrical controls for temperature/humidity control
• Inspect and repair equipment/systems per company policies and regulations
• Review diagrams, instructions, and building plans
• Climb ladders and lift items up to 100 lbs
• Work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
• Work hours 8am–5pm, Monday–Friday (may vary)
• Perform tests and evaluations as required
