Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a hands-on HVAC/R technician to install, program, commission, and service building automation and HVAC controls across Michigan. You will work on air-conditioning, heating, humidity control, and energy management projects in diverse environments.

You will troubleshoot BAS performance, diagnose issues in the field, and support a growing service portfolio while ensuring dependable customer service and follow‑through.

Qualifications

• +3–5 years of hands-on experience with HVAC controls or building automation systems.
• Familiarity with Facility Explorer / CCT.
• Experience with the Distech controller line and GFX programming.
• Proficiency within the Niagara ecosystem (e.g., EC‑Net, WEBs, Lynxspring, Vykon or comparable platforms).
• Honeywell controls exposure preferred (not required).
• Working knowledge of DraftSight and Microsoft Visio for drawings and documentation.
• Field experience integrating controls with commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units.
• Ability to diagnose and repair control systems and associated HVAC equipment.
• Personal hand tools required; clean driving record required.
• OSHA 10‑hour training certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, commission, and service building automation and HVAC control systems for air-conditioning, heating, ventilation, humidity control, and energy management applications.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and fine‑tune BAS performance; resolve controls and equipment issues in the field.
• Support a growing service portfolio throughout the Michigan area while delivering outstanding customer service and dependable follow‑through.
