Job summary

RIMEPRO INC. seeks a BIM Detailer – Sheet Metal to support HVAC projects from design coordination through fabrication. You will develop coordinated ductwork models, produce fabrication-ready drawings, and collaborate with project managers, field teams and other trades.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in HVAC detailing with proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks, and experience reading mechanical, architectural, and structural drawings for shop drawing generation.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of HVAC sheet metal detailing, BIM, CAD drafting, or mechanical construction experience.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Experience coordinating ductwork layouts within commercial construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, architectural, and structural drawings.
• Experience producing shop drawings and fabrication documents.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam and applicable HVAC industry standards is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop coordinated HVAC ductwork models using Revit and related BIM software.
• Produce shop drawings and fabrication documents for commercial HVAC systems.
• Coordinate layouts with structural, architectural, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection trades.
• Review project drawings and specifications to support accurate detailing.
• Convert design revisions into updated construction documentation and as-builts.
• Participate in coordination meetings and help resolve design conflicts.
• Maintain organized drawing files and project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
