Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assists in repair and installation to complete projects and work orders efficiently.
• Supports other trades personnel as needed to help complete activities.
• Coordinates with administration and other trades to finish projects and work orders.
• Diagnoses problems in heating/air conditioning/refrigeration systems for repair or replacement needs.
• Fabricates sheet metal components as needed for installation or repair.
• Informs staff about procedures and status of work orders for decision making and safety compliance.
• Inspects facilities and systems for safety and preventive maintenance.
• Installs HVAC/R equipment to provide comfort and reliability.
• Maintains tools and equipment in safe operating condition.
• Prepares documentation to provide written support and convey information.
• Repairs items and systems to ensure availability and safety.
• Requests equipment and supplies to maintain inventory.
• Responds to emergencies to resolve safety concerns.
• Transports tools, equipment, and supplies to job sites.
