Job summary

Dgk in Lansing, MI is seeking a proactive Maintenance Technician to ensure the reliable operation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our facilities. You will perform repairs, troubleshoot issues, and conduct routine inspections to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include maintaining HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment; reading schematics; performing preventative maintenance; and coordinating with teams.

Qualifications

• Proven service technician experience with appliance repair, HVAC/R, or refrigeration.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on repair ability.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechanical systems including HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment.
• Read schematics, manuals, and diagrams to diagnose issues and perform repairs.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections of HVAC and appliances.
• Operate company vehicles to transport tools and parts for maintenance tasks.
• Manage maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) supplies and procure parts.
• Lead or assist with construction projects related to mechanical systems.
• Communicate maintenance status clearly with team and other departments.
• Keep detailed records of repairs and maintenance for compliance.
