Job summary

Daikin Applied seeks a Service and Solutions Account Manager in Pittsburgh, PA, to drive sales and build relationships across the territory. You will partner with representatives, district offices, and service centers to meet goals and develop new business.

You will prepare estimates, quotes, and contracts while traveling daily within the territory and leveraging CRM tools like Salesforce to maximize opportunities. This role requires HVAC expertise and strong negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification with 5 years field service experience or a bachelor's degree.
• 2–4+ years of related sales experience (HVAC sales preferred).
• Valid driver's license and acceptable MVR.
• Ability to travel territory daily.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar sales CRM.
• Experience creating sales proposals and reviewing contracts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and meet sales goals by expanding existing customers and prospecting new business.
• Call on customers within the assigned territory and build relationships.
• Prepare cost estimates and price quotations for new work and continued projects.
• Verify prices, terms, and prepare sales contracts.
• Prepare pipeline reports and business plans.
• Identify tools and resources to aid sales efforts (rebates, ROI).

Daikin Applied is seeking a Service and Solutions Account Manager

Location: Pittsburgh, PA - Hybrid

Your Responsibilities:

• Work in an assigned territory, partnering closely with Independent Manufacturers Representatives, District Office and Service Center Managers, sales colleagues, the Parts team and Technicians
• Meet sales goals through the development of existing customers and prospecting new business
• Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from Daikin installed equipment database, industry sources, business directories, vertical market information or any other lead generation source
• Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, build customer relationships, and follow up on customer concerns
• Prepare cost estimates and price quotations on new work and coordinates the preparation of cost estimates on project continuations.
• Verify and quote prices, credit terms, and prepare sales contracts for orders obtained
• Perform tests and conduct surveys on competitive products in order to determine the need for product alterations or the development of new products
• Prepare reports of pipeline, sales activity, and business plans
• Identify and implement tools and resources to assist in sales efforts (e.g. energy rebates, estimated payoffs, ROI)

Your Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent plus HVAC certification and 5 years HVAC field service experience or bachelor's degree
• 2-4+ years of related sales experience (HVAC sales preferred)
• Valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
• Ability to travel territory daily
• Demonstrated ability to influence the market
• Experience with Salesforce or any other sales tracking software (preferred)
• Prior experience creating sales proposals, quotes, and reviewing contracts (preferred)

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $59,500 - $97,900 plus a targeted sales incentive in Pennsylvania. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, this position is eligible for a sales incentive plan.
