Job summary

Metlen Energy & Metals is seeking a Site Electrical Engineer for the Grid & Digital Solutions division, supporting a high‑voltage substations project in Akaltsikhe, Georgia. You will supervise instrumentation installation, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure compliance with design and safety standards.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of HV construction experience, with strong organizational and English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or technical degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical construction projects with High Voltage.
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Mark the location of instruments at site per drawings and supervise installation.
• Record daily subcontractor productivity and maintain records of installed equipment.
• Ensure timely delivery of instrumentation equipment and materials to site.
• Supervise installation, calibration, and testing of instrumentation systems by subcontractors.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure correct installation per design and implement quality checks.
• Identify and resolve issues related to instrumentation installation and integration with DCS/PLC systems.
• Prepare progress and technical reports and review subcontractor reports.
