FieldAI invites a Fall 2026 research internship focused on humanoid manipulation in Boston. You will design, implement, and evaluate manipulation strategies for humanoid robots, integrating perception, planning and control to advance embodied intelligence.

You will work toward publishing in leading robotics venues, collaborate with researchers inside FieldAI and externally, and help develop robotics foundation models with hardware integration for field-ready deployments.

Qualifikationen

• Current PhD student in Robotics, CS, ME, EE, AI or related field.
• Research experience in robotic manipulation or loco-manipulation.
• Strong foundation in robot kinematics, dynamics and control.
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++, with robotics/ML tooling.

• Advance humanoid manipulation research by designing strategies.
• Explore loco-manipulation integrating perception, planning and control.
• Work toward super-human dexterity and teleoperation improvements.
• Contribute to publishing a paper in leading robotics venues.
