Job summary

BASIS Charter School is seeking a dedicated teacher to supervise selected courses and substitute when needed, while learning the BASIS model for future full-time roles. You will contribute to student well-being and school life across campuses.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, fingerprint clearance, and a willingness to work full-time on-site in Kentucky. Strong communication, judgment and organization are essential, with flexibility for multiple campuses.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Valid fingerprint clearance and/or satisfactory state background check.
  • Ability to work full time.
  • Willingness to take NES Elementary Education Assessment if necessary.
  • Flexibility to be considered for campuses beyond the initially desired location.
  • Commitment to BASIS teaching methodologies and model.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Good judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work professionally with diverse groups.
  • Exemplary organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Support Deans and Directors of Student Affairs with behavior and discipline management.
  • Assist in managing and executing key school programs.
